I already miss you--
You left tonight
With the setting sun.
I taste the warmth
Of your whispered breath
On my fleeting thoughts;
I love the smell
Of fresh lilacs
And the summer sky.
I already miss you--
You left tonight
With the setting sun.
I feel the smoothness
Of your soft cheeks
On my hollowed heart;
I love the touch
Of tranquil oceans
And the summer sky.
I already miss you--
You left tonight
With the setting sun.
I hear the echo
Of your gentle voice
In my barren stomach;
I love the sound
Of singing sparrows
And the summer sky.
I already miss you--
You left tonight
With the setting sun.

Enjoyed it very much.
Have a nice week-end. Brollies
out I think. Reminds of the song,
bit "Well Gather Lilacs In The Spring Again".
this is a lovely love poem, and entwined words.
Congrats; on the cherries!
