Time to wipe
away the tears
and turn from
the pain, so real
and frightening
they’re gone,
son and son on
a toboggan built
for two friends
laughing with
reddened cheeks and
riding the hill’s
edge of forever.

It's written with feeling but what's the connexion between the Thames and the toboggan?
