WHAT A TALE (True) what a laugh!

oH! What a day it was
'Mystic Rose' got up
got ready to go
to the shops
Popped a bit of mascara on
the brush gave her
a black eye
she touched her cheeks
With a bit of rouge
and wiped away
the previous tears
remembered as AbcTalers say
"Put on that smile
and get your glad rags on"
Mystic Rose
got the bus into town
And back again
mainly the high back seat
she dives for
to keep up straight
Two lovely ladies
sat opposite me
no room at all
our knees nearly met
Mary and Kitty
looked a bit kinky
with their patterned
lacey tights
Kitty chatted
how she met
Simon Cowell back stage
and passing by winked his eye
Suddenly they both
nudged each other
burst out laughing!
I said "Why are you laughing"
May I join in
mystic rose thought maybe it was
her new black large tights
had fallen to her feet
"It is your coat" they said
with the penguins on
Mystic Rose replied
"I have a tale about that"
It is a poem
called p-p-p "Pick Up A Penguin"
in AbcTales
Mystic Rose
Dived in her bag of photos
to show the AbcTales magazine
"join us please" she said
Kitty and Mary got off the bus
The windows so blurred!
mystic Rose couldn't see out
the bus had gone past
two stops
So she walked on home
laughing! away
all because of nylon fur coat
and the penguins on
Everyone loves
wherever she goes
maybe she should change
her name to Mystic Rose
Mystic rose has other jackets
not like penguins
catching fish and
hopping along.
laughter is the best medicine.
