Nitty Norah came to our school
To run her comb through one and all
Her hands were rough and hold was hard
As she scraped Nits upon a card
Her siver comb had teeth of steele
My scalp was numb no sense or feel
Black bits were falling everywhere
Was it the Nits or dirty hair?
Then one big yank just made me scream
As Norah combed through my Brylcreem
"Yes, you've got eggs, it's looking bad"
"So go home now and tell your Dad"
Then off I went to my poor home
To find my Mum all home alone
Dad down the pub so Barber called
Two minutes flat and I was bald
So no more Nits were on my head
The Barber man had killed them dead!
