I always appreciate your support insert with my efforts with prose/poetry. I learn from other talers on here. Phew, just as well I left out all the commas etc.

Cor! I really liked this. I'm curious to know what you mean by, 'Phew, just as well I left out all the commas etc.' It was a conscious decision then? But I do agree that it works. I'm never quite sure what to do with punctuation in my own poems. I especially like the effect of, 'do you remember' without a question-mark. It becomes something quite different; sort of deadpan and hopeless. And hemming the whole thing in with this doleful refrain, really makes it resonate.

Hi sid. Grammar is not my strong point, I always cock things up with putting in a comma and the like in the wrong place. Insert would kindly point out my errors and I would revisit and edit. Sooz recently commented on a piece, so taking her advice went I back and edited. Plus I learn from all abc taler's how to do things correctly like your goodself. ps Anyway I must go now and do some " peel and chop" I have read about how to do that.

new ScoZen Hi! well deserved cherries! Enjoyed all of this the images, and words. First stanza to. I agree with you,I can't do punctuation, only comma and few speech words. But I get most help,by reading others,work on AbcTales no good explaining to me! Can you please tell me word emoticons means= I can't find in dictionaries,may be same as emotions. take care. Like the flow of the poem. What are you 'peel and chop! could be a cooking receipe! julie x

Gosh! "...this is seriously good..." You are making me squirm with embarrassment seashore. I learn from all here on abc tales but pleased you enjoyed the read. ps. my next attempt is going to be on a poetry painting theme, sort of water colourly, oily, chalky etc, fingers x you may like it.
