cat street
these are the guards
of my weekday mornings:
soft hill beacons,
paws neatly at rest.
together like lips
that have ceased speaking.
arranged around
my walk,
they are a huddle,
of patient purring
traffic cones.
gathered around,
an accident
waiting to happen.

really enjoyed, Well deserved cherries!
Definitely the title fooled me!
As I am cat lover, thinking of first
cat's eyes. Very clever. Traffic purring! traffic cones
well explained!
Please! how did you get the great title
'JupiterMoon' anything to do with moons,or maybe full moon, interests me to know! Can you say.

Wow! good luck with the Novel, looking
forward can't wait to read 'Our Butterfly Summer'.
Be terific. Re; the name 'jupiter/Moon not moon mad,
but love see full moon. Have a book called 'Sacred Places' bought once from Borders when open. Truly amazing the mountains, stories and colour, the Author then come and read apart, have wine all,buy the book.
Large book,so much in it! Author is 'Phil Cargomm',still buy of web thinkabout £20,slightly different colour covers. Gave me so many ideas, using in story, maybe or poem like form.
Clever you write a Novel.
Thanks replying.

I really like this - but
I really like this - but 'accident waiting to happen' feels a bit clunky.
I've also spent five minutes trying to work out a way to improve it and can't - but I'm no poet!
