FOUR KINGS

four kings met up for lunch one day
they wined and dined and laughed
they traded regal secrets
and the wisdom of their craft

the first king said i rule by force
with club and whip and pain
there must not be a weakest link
when fashioning your chain

the second said i rule by love
with heart and soul and mind
there cannot be pure unity
if one is left behind

the third king said i rule by wealth
with diamonds, gold and jewels
to have a strong economy
provides the basic tools

the fourth king said i rule by health
with spades we tend the earth
for crops supply the sustenance
which bring the utmost worth
