Her silken scarlet lips parted and allowed
Pristine pearl teeth access to shred the
Scarred surface of the apple; her languid
Tongue lapped at the secreted sap whilst what little
She missed snaked a sleepy trail across her cultured chin.
Elegant jaws crunched the pulp in symmetrical patterns and
The lovely limb in which the fruit was cradled, lowered
And offered me a taste
Five minutes in paradise, faced
With the omnipotence of her being,
And you ask why I fell?
Christ, it was inevitable.
