I met Blair once.
A rally,
north London.
Two days before
‘things can only get better’
at the Royal Festival Hall.
I shook his hand,
and thought his eyes
meant it.
He took us to war,
and made us call him
‘Tony’.
We marched
to Hyde Park.
We marched
to nothing.
Today.
Margaret died.
When she was once asked,
‘What was your greatest achievement?’
She replied,
‘New Labour’.
I hated that song.

I've read lots like this.
This is the best by far. Although Parson Thru did a cracker as well. I'll call it a draw then. Both are sparse and well written, I can see his eyes though Ralph and the image unquiets me
