Rainy Days

Whispers
of time...
echo
along pavements,
drawing those
it touches,

down...down
came
the
rain,

washing away
the ripples
of light,
into another time,
another place,

the moon
reflecting
an arch
of colours,
soothing
distracted minds,

soulfully a mother
carries her
weeping baby,
seeking
shelter
from
the
echo
pools.
