I toiled at the things you wrote,
Contemplated all the things you said.
You taught me to write, express, divulge,
But not how to stop me from falling,
I fell for you, fell deep,
Felt something,
I never wanted until now; your eyes, your hair, that sweet voice.
I wanted your warm, gentle embrace.
It all stopped; you never wrote,
There was nothing to be said.
I read your poems and letters; again and again,
But you never stopped me from falling,
I fell for you , fell deep,
Felt something,
You taught me not to want; what you want you cannot have.
I want to be free now, but what you want you cannot have.
