please forgive me... i have been amiss, arrogant, a fool... you know how much i love you. i am not what you think i am, i am not a seducer of young girls... it so happens that you were there when i was seducing a young girl and i cetainly am not a playboy in any terms... please, i am still a europhile and i dance upon your grace, do not hate me for it seems i am becoming like those that i hate... indifferent, callous, lacking in all sensitivity and seeing intellectuals as a bunch of idiots who want to be dictators... how sublime and pure you are... bellissima.. do not accuse me of hubris, do not sacrifice me for your own pleasure, make me a scapegoat to satisfy your ends. Please... forgive me, knowing me to be as human as you.

I didn't completely understand this. I feel as though I should know who or what the 'you' in the piece is and that  knowing that would make it obvious what the reference to secuding young girls is about. Or maybe there is no inner meaning, b ut because the writing is good and clear but the meaning isn't I like this enough to want to know what I'm missing. This is going to be one of those that niggles at you throughout the day and that's the mark of a good piece of writing.
