Mammy's Boy ..

He tries to look strong
Wide smile on his greetin' face
'Mum's not got long'
So, make time for sweetest things
He lives far away
Arms-folding resentment
'How DARE he slink in'
Stealing all their limelight
But ..
That's not his fault,
It's this situation
So frighteningly critical
Try to not whine again
Sisters bash him, causing guilt
He's been living it up, no doubt
Poor little mama's on her way out
Leave him be, try not to SHOUT

It's not his fault but it's
It's not his fault but it's how things work out very often. You make some good observations in your writing and this one tells the story so well.
