The same blood, the same need (last week's IP)

You could divide the world into groups indeed
by language, and culture, or wealth and creed;
those that know bondage, and those who feel freed;
into fishermen, farmers, and scholars who read;
those who have much, and those in great need;
into those who are ruled, and those who reign, lead;
into those who rebel, and those who accede;
but all are one people, whose Landlord will plead,
to come for the help that he proffers, with speed,
for his Son came to save, for the lost intercede.

Hello Rhiannon,
Hello Rhiannon,
Don't understand how this could have got so overlooked. It is another well written, clever poem that is your hallmark. I have read a number of your poems and they never fail in quality and in subject matter. This one uses a clever device by using just the one rhyme to illustrate the subject matter.
Once again much enjoyed

A clever one-rhyme poem, very well crafted, Rhiannon. Sometimes it pays not to rush into print but to reflect and construct. Congratulations on the cherries.

Hi Rhiannon
Hi Rhiannon
Such fun, thinking of all those rhyming last words and still keeping the meaning and structure of the poem intact.
