Bleak is the Night

How bleak is this prediction -

as yet, no end in sight. The prospect

of the rocks ahead strickens even mighty 

men, and endless is the night.



It's then the demons taunt

and devils temp the weak to take

a chance. Refusal 

to fight is cowardice, 

and shameful is - to leave without 

a bye, or backward glance.
