Steely clouds behind the hill,
evening autumn glinting sunlight
catches fallen, falling leaves,
and haw-red trees scattered over
the lush green backdrop
of the slope
– tall shadows cast stark
dark bands across the scene.

This makes me want to take a stroll in the countryside tomorrow weather permitting.

thank you, Jenny. I made myself walk down to the Care Home (25 min on foot, 5 by car, which often wins!) and was so glad, but I hadnt brought my camera, so tried to fix it on my mind, and later fix it in words! We haven't had a repeat of quite the same effects since. Rhiannon

Hi Rhiannon

Lovely poem, for a pretty part of the year. 

My sister's funeral on Thursday sounded lovely. I have got all the music listed and will play it at church over the next month when three is an opportunity.  I was pleased that they chose lots of the same pieces of music that was used at my other sister's funeral. I am getting on slowly with the book I am writing about her,

Good to hear from you, I've been wondering how you are getting on, and assuming you were busy with quite a big task for this special book. Nice to be remembering her life at this time, and for her children too. I'm sure you would have liked to be with them, but more special that you went when you did. love, Rhiannon
