Have You Seen My Sister?

Have you seen my sister?
My kin
My skin and blister
She lives inside a dream
Between two scenes
She is a drifter
Her smile is just a wisp
And her voice is just a whisper
She’s whittled, whippet thin
A strip of wind
You’d almost miss her
And how I miss my sister
Once were close enough together
To hear the same sounds
To feel the same weather
We were both made from the stars
But she swam with the planets
She went too far
We ran towards the sun
And she was faster by a whisker
I watched her all aglow
I saw her burn
I could not fix her
She only wants the ones
Who pull her strings
Until they twist her
Have you seen my sister?
