Traffic

Sounds like a harrowing tally. Gives a sense of human trafficking. Hauntingly tenuous, like a riddle, as much of life is to me.

Chilling and it really is horror. You've captured it here.

I wonder how it must be, for the few who have found shelter here or other places, to see on TV places, or people they know. And to carry on in a world where everyone else is oblivious. And for those trying to find shelter to end up like in this poem. Numbers, money.
