A sofa tied to a slanting roof
Though sodden from the heavy rain
And host to fungal forests
Must still be welcome comfort
To house-hopping goblins.

In the windows of the town
Bright mosaics of bare bulb light
Late-night televisions hum
Hiding the patter of cryptid feet
Landing on rooftops.

It's a bit above me but still it's pretty I enjoy it. I just wonder how you tie na sofa to a slanting roof? It is abstract I guess. "Late-night televisions hum." Nice! They usually carry on humming after you smash the screen with an axe. A sad note.

I actually saw a sofa on the roof of a house, while zooming past on the train. The physics of it are beyond me. Thanks as always for your comment!
