Notice
shades
pink in
Spring,
flush of
buds sweet
are those
petals,
filling air
with color,
first taste
of season,
giddy bees
appear, buzz
overcome
with nectar,
be quick for
breezes gather
soon blossom
will begin falling,
cascading like
confetti at
young maiden's
wedding,
as it
lays
beneath
my feet.

Ah yes. Spring has donned her frilly frock and is about to dance round the maypole. Enjoyed your poem. You say a lot in a few words.

It does look like confetti
It does look like confetti doesn't it! You've managed to cram such a lot into so few words here Jenny. I'm glad you decided to have a go at our clever IP. Perhaps you'll try in prose too?
