As my eyes open

Behind my closed lids,

Scanning the innerscape.

Moving by thought,

But not too quickly.

My eyes on the horizon,

Forward the only way to go.

I feel you feeling me,

Wondering what

Do we do from here?

I'm thinking, hand

In hand, we start anew

                     for S.

One of those moments. I like your minimalist style. My only thought is the two opening lines. I kind of get the opening of the inner eye, but something jars with the concrete depiction of closed lids. Maybe something about looking inwards? Thanks for your suggestions, by the way. We got cherried.

the zen notion, not to over mention what is an interest and not an accomplishment, is to close your eyes and turn your eyes inward, see who is doing the thinking. yes, saw your cherries, and your generous mention of me. thanks.

thanks. here in china youtube is blocked, but i think the reading you heard was from 2010-2011. a couple of the poems that were read have been revised.  thanks again.
