You've Got (Junk) Mail

I started my day
as I usually do.
Checked my emails
and found nothing
but spam.
One message
from an Asian babe
obviously meant
to appeal to my loins
and another one
extolling the virtues
of Brit-coins
which is, I suspect,
a scam.
I deleted the junk
and was wondering
whether I should put
the laptop to sleep
or switch it off
when I heard a beep;
there was a new mail
from unknown senders
saying that their policy
was to value my privacy.
