Yellow:

Sunshine smiles

I want to create

With vibrancy on

This beautiful day,

 

Golden:

Harmony of treasures

To lift spirit higher

As winter nears

Winging its way,

 

Blue:

As the bells of spring

Carpeting the woods

Leaving my heart to sing

Taking my breath away,

 

Red:

Blush of rose petals

In summer...remind

Me of our love as I

Lay here with you today,

 

I rejoice in essence of life

Where in this world of strife

And cold winds are in view

Colours always shine through.

yes, I've got a wee sneaky prefererence for yellow, but the vibrancy of nature, well, you know, as you show.

Oh what a wonderful world that has such colours in it. You can't beat the beauty of the rainbow. It inspires confidence in God, doesn't it? Nicely done, Jenny, with a nice image too!

Thank you. A good reminder of those beautiful colours, though sometimes in the present world eclipsed a bit through cloud or sadness, yet such beauty and cheer still there to delight, and remind that the God who created it will make everything perfect again. Rhiannon

As for nature, you cannot beat those colours.

Hi Rhiannon,

glad you enjoyed reading this poem. I was sitting down yesterday with my pots of paint trying to decide what to create on canvas and thinking about colours, which inspired me to write this poem. Will have to paint another day, probably something that involves flowers, they're always a pleasure to paint.

Just beautiful. To me yellow is faithfulness, gold is noble and eternal. Your others could be, the colour blue serenity and peace perhaps, and red would be love.
