Putting things off

Turning inward

Turning in

Shrinking my absorption

Starving the point

Just inhaling

Listening to my

Blood flowing

I am full

Too full to take

On new days

Full enough to sink

You can’t kill time

It evaporates

In the blue stare

Of perceived failure

It falls through

The thirsting grates

At both ends

Of your term
