The Syllables of The Other

Before the first word a moment,
within that moment all moments,
and within those moments
the collective hymns for each world
and each instant of those worlds,
for you and I,
songs of beginning and being
of bearing one and the other,
of not being the other,
and as that moment unfurls,
fields of unmarked graves open,
the time ripped tide rolling through every moment,
from the heart of each
lost syllables coming together,
joining, rising joyous
m other, f ather, s ister, br other
to be an intrinsic part of the word
to pair within the word
and to speak equal with the word,
their voices heard saying, "Let it be so."
