Expanding The Mind

Stirring impressions flood
gallery, imagination now
silently engaging; not on
canvas...but with words,
art dips and dives; passions
reflect an alternate realm,
where pen takes flight
securing contentment of
positiveness.
Being quintessential is not
important; I embrace those
unfettered feelings fleshed
out in colours...illustrious
shapes and shades, tapestry
of images seen in explosion
of exuberance with each
trickle of hue expelled –
showers burst, splashes
dissolving, generating
tumbling waves; steady
new formations emerge,
becoming clearer.
Embrace shifting karma,
never knowing where
expression takes me next...
a nomad of the arts.

Cherries were already there when I read your lovely poem! I wonder if you have invented a kind of writing? It is very recognisably yours. I used to like trying to make pictures from music - it is very interesting to me to read your poems about colour :0) Autumn has arrived where I am, at least the trees are all turning, and now it has rained it is much fresher! I hope it cools down where you are too, very soon!

Always good to see your pen taking flight. A lovely poem; a pleasure to read. Paul :)
