Tracks

Track it,
track it to the tracks
on the arms of the twenty-five year old
lost under the over pass
in Philly or San Fran,
waiting for the man.
Track it,
track it from Wuhan;
seed crystal for the deadly powder
cooked in Sinaloa,
crossing borders
with beans.
Track it,
track it into the lost
boys and girls fencing goods
for a fentanyl fix,
sold in baggies
for souls.

... arriving soon in your
... arriving soon in your neighbourhood, very sadly. I think there's something even worse than fentanyl now, isn't there? Can't remember the name

Isotonitazene (aka nitazene or "ISO”)
Street slang - "EeeSoo" dialect(s) include E-Z
ISO has already been seen pressed into counterfeit pills and falsely marketed as pharmaceutical medication (like Dilaudid "M-8" tablets and oxycodone "M30" tablets). = tragic in emerging markets where counterfeit packaging is made to look like brand name Pharma product, etc......
In fact, its fairly easy to make... IMO & I agree with the general consensus, forecast wise, there will be a surge in mobile labs, (garage cookers) entrepreneurs, rivaling more organized crime-gang units, eating into cash flows - in the sense repeating the Meth cycle creating turf wars, etc.... At present, I remain cautiously optimistic that law enforcement is coming up the curve here and 1st responder teams are being trained to ID it and deal with it.... but then again, its all about time, resources, street savvy Cops, training, getting the public awareness message out there, etc... and some governments move faster than others.....
Technology plays a roll here... with AI assisted chemistry software, it becomes faster and easier to design these street drugs, and variations of, if the original materials are not available.
At the end of the day... it's a commodity business with a lot of velocity. But there is ways to make it a tough business with low success rate & price it out of the black market making it too expensive to sell/buy and produce... again that takes time & governments dont move to fast on that one.....
IMO... as I see it....
