Bob Dylan comes on singing a hymn with keyboards and guitars,

a message of peace for all sides and all hearts.

Truth is spoken, and felt!

The soldiers put down their weapons and surrender to God.

Drones fall from the skies, never to be used again,

and the walls come tumbling down across all the land.

A man with a donkey rides once again into Jerusalem,

overturning the moneylenders tables.

He is welcomed with palm leaves.

A new currency of love washes over the land.

Justice will rule once again.

No man, or woman will be bullied or terrorized from their homes,

unless their home was not theirs, but someone else’s.

Killers will pay a penalty,

but they will not face an eye for an eye or a tooth for a tooth.

No life will be taken ever again.

Thieves will face justice but there will be forgiveness along the line.

The people of both sides will be shown justice and respect for once.

Alfred has had another reoccurring dream of a better future, or a real future, maybe an alternative future. In the dreamstate it does not seem so difficult an outcome. He wonders why the many parties struggle so much to make this obviously desirable (and sensible!) future the reality?

I think we can all sympathise with Alfred's question. Justice and respect seem fairly basic things to desire - as you say, who would think they could be so difficult!

Thanks airyfairy. Alfred is pleased you agree with him. It should not be too much to ask! People on both, or all, sides really should want, and need the same.

Yes, Alfred's dream should a dream we can all support. If we all speak out for these good dreams maybe they can become the reality!
