Mariska

Knowing she is my favourite actress of all time, when my husband found out infomation about her, this week, he told me about it.

Paul found out who her mother was, he told me her name but it didn't really ring a bell for me. Even when Paul added, "She is very very famous." He wanted me to guess. I was unable to. Then when he told me her Mums name, it didn't really mean much to me, I had to look her up!

She was indeed very famous and her Dad was a bodybuilder. Her Mother was described as a "Hollywood Bombshell in the 1950s. She was known for her beauty style and independent spirit."

When Mariska was three years old in June 1967, her Mum died, in a car accident with her boyfriend and the driver. Little Mariska and her two older brothers were also in the car too and all three children  survived.  Mariska does not remember the accident. The accident left her with a scar on her face.

Mariska her first and middle name is Hungarian, and Mariska is a diminutive of Mary. The three children were then brought up by their Dad and his girl-friend.  

Since 2013 Mariska is among the higest paid actresses on television. She is fantastic in Law & Order, Special Victims Unit.

Her famous parents were, Mickey Hargitay and her Mum Jayne Mansfield.
