Fingers touching across tables
parching on the terrace;
a look exchanged during
chit-chat-chatter burdened
with subtext - lost on the audience -
but fixed in memory,
kept wrapped, only remembered:
a lifetime of kim's game
played by just one of us.
Unless you remember too.
