'Jism.'
The gremlin sat on the beanbag, which was on the turntable, which spun at 33 rpm, whilst cherry-topped fairy buns were projected at him from all sides.
'Jism?'
A pause.
And then someone called:
'Stop saying jism!'
'Filthy gremlin,' said someone else - more quietly, but evidently closer to the gremlin on the beanbag on the turntable which spun at 33 rpm.
The gremlin stood. He raised his arms. He opened his mouth. He then immediately fell, on account of the fact that a beanbag isn't a very stable platform; and this, along with the rotation, made maintaining such a posture an unrealistic prospect.
There was laughing. There was more fairy bun tossing. The gremlin sat there, on the beanbag, in a heap, feeling sad. As it should. As was its destiny and its penance.
'Jism...' said the gremlin, to its knees, which it now hugged. Only this time, it seemed that no one could hear him.
