I sideglanced but he did not flinch.
Told me over drinks about his short stories (unpublished),
His web writing (yeah, that will get you a long way)
And his poems (mmm)
I say
'what are you going to do with your writing?'
He say
'I might write a novel'
I say
'Sound like a good idea.
