Largitia De Valor
By Night Of The White Owl

In alms,
wisdom whispers
within calming winds ….
I have immense faith,
for I know,
I do not know!
It is before the words escape my mouth,
I come to believe,
surrender and grow full of hope.
In the silence,
I adhere to truth.
The world is absent
of ghosts,
but looming memories advise us;
It is only a haunt of thoughts which torment the mind.
We are riddled by illusion,
there is consequence;
to be free
or to recognize?
A love confessed,
a way of life;
it is not an image before our eyes.
It is the acknowledgement of life itself,
love is the truth beyond our lives.
Within the darkness,
I find peace.
I have accepted my fate;
the unknown leaves me,
powerless;
but what is the purpose of an afterlife?
A reward
for living morally?
A promise to receive charity?
I seek to ameliorate all wrong doing!
Is eternity necessary for such a virtuous feat?
