I can disappear in a city
Reimagined, unannoyed
Born again as something chosen
Inner city, inner joy
Those buildings hide my hills from view
The traffic fills my mind
I dream of trees, of sand of sea
Don't leave me, stay and grow...
But I must go and see my friends
I must engage with life
To bustle in the hustle there
To star, to shine to rise
I'll miss you in the winds that blow
The burn that babbles soft
Your company was all I sought
A kiss, your touch your heart
