A Child of the King

[Continuing the idea of a hymn for Sundays – as last Sunday was rememberd as being 'Pentecost Sunday being 50 days after Jesus' resurrection, and the coming of the Holy Spirit to indwell and empower, this is a song about his ministry in each believer. Holy Spirit makes me know
I’m a son of God, although
sometimes I less conscious feel
of my full adoption real:
faith and joy, assurance wrought
by his Spirit in my heart.

to my Father, and rely
wholly as a little child,
