As the driven soul beat their chest.

“Ninety nine means nothing

And one percent is ALL!”

“Why teach me perfection

Then sooth me at my loss?

I must lower the midnight oil

On past dawn I’m bound to toil

‘Till I find the cursed section.

That blighted my perfection.”

The teacher thought it best

If he let the matter rest.

“Ninety nine is tough

And God’s speed in your quest.

To reach your holy grail.

Your drive I’ll not berate.

When I sat the test
