Volcanic planet with no atmosphere 

 meteors strike the surface with regularity

the impacts subside

A chemical soup is formed

And the rain down pours 

For a million years to create mighty oceans

Tiny creature bathe in deep ocean vents  of a super hot sauna 

Invertebrates  crawl along the sea floor 

Before the development of  the senses 

Explorers venture onto land 

Reptiles dart in the sky 

The land trembles with giant foot steps 

Carnivore stork lumbering Plant eaters 

Looking out of the burrows 

Where the giants no longer roam 

A new family tree emerges 

families of tiny mammals 

the world is now theirs
