I had a dream
You were there
We were walking
On opposite sides
Of the road
I was holding
A girls hand
Looked over to you
You were holding
Another guys hand
Sad I was
Felt so empty

You was smiling

Kept looking over

Turn to look
You never did
Being dragged around
By the girl
Holding my hand
You pulling

I stared at the floor
Constantly
Taking a peak
Across the street
Though you
Never looked
I wanted

To be on your side
Of the street

The girl
Leading me on
By the hand
Stopped
At the street lights
I looked over
You were stood
At the lights too
A truck pulled up
Right in front of me
I looked up
Seen my reflection
On the side
Of the truck
I shook my head
Looked again
At my reflection

Right next to me
Looked across the street

Hand in hand
Waiting for the lights
I looked down
At my hand
Followed up
The arm
Of the one
Holding my hand
As I got up to
A face
I was met with
