OLD HAPPY COUPLE

The old happy couple;
Have they always felt that way?
For all anyone knows,
They might have just met yesterday!

But isn't there something heart-warming,
About them being with each other?
It's comforting and touching,
That they seem to care for one another.

How nice to be that content with someone,
To have that person share their time with you.
If I get to be around their age,
I'd want to be part of a happy couple too.
