Wonderer - Little teaser...(only a couple of paragraphs)

He was riding through the forest on his mount when the first wolf lunged at him. It seemed like there was no one around, but they were there. Nothing in this world could save him, no one knowing of his existence, no one even caring if he lives or dies.

The night sky was being unveiled by the clouds moving away with the wind. His horse started getting uneasy, restless. Already he could feel the changes happening. His body convulsed with his spine cracking loudly in several places. Stretching back to bend his body backwards cracking his now longer spine into place he fell off his horse. His muscles grew and bulged in enormous proportions ripping his clothes. The wolves that were chasing him stopped and stood there watching intently. His face changed more and more into that which is all too familiar to the wolf, more hair grew onto his naked frame getting thicker and thicker until it becomes a fur. Blood-curdling screams turned into howls that would freeze anyone in mid-air. His face turned into a muzzle through the screams and howls. Finally, he was free of the pain.

He ran into the darkness chasing the wolves that had been chasing him. The Wolf took over his mind clouding his humanity. If only he could control it he wouldn’t have to run all the time.
