Search the shelves
when next you visit; use
your hands
feel for me -
you will know me
there - in the right place.
Take me up and
feel the weight of me;
Examine edges velveted
by time and trace
a title, indented,
gold-leaf fading.
Note the jerk of
my spine as you ease
your fingers into my folds
explore my text and
etched in the margins
find traces of others.
Open me up, analyse me,
draw out my meanings then
lift me up and
drink in the scent of me
let me feel the warmth of your breath
holding you there.
Before you leave
note the place on the shelf
where you found me and
slide me back there.
You will not find me
in the catalogue.

Like this a lot CC1959. It's good work. But, once again have a look at the punctuation.
