spider town

I saved a spider in a paper cup.
It spidered away with the cup
I caught a spider with a soup pot
It spidered away with the pot
I cornered a spider in the living room
It spun a web over the sofa and bed settee
Sent me spidering after snacks
Cats and dogs
Rough-spoken kids
That walk and talk like me.

Got bitten on the lip, a couple or so years ago now, by a spider, slipped unnoticed into my glass of red wine, during a Sunday evening dinner. Ah...but there's many a slip....
Enjoyed your pome...nonetheless.

Hi CM
Hi CM
I like the way you take the subject of spiders to a new level. I had three who invaded my living room a few weeks ago, but their remains (from natural processes) remain there waiting for me to get out my vacuum before the next time I have visitors. They are quite interesting even in death.
