Cousin's

Cousins

Here is a story about two little girls,
One with straight brown hair, the other with blonde curls

Morgan lives in Arizona where it gets very hot,
Courtney lives in Pennsylvania where it can sometimes snow a lot

In the summer they go on vacation together to the beach, to play in the sand
They have a wonderful time walking by the water holding each other’s hand

Morgan will be two, and Courtney four,
There have never been two cousins that have loved each other more

After the beach, they both get in the bath
They play with rubber duckies, and boy do they laugh

They get dressed and then it’s time to eat
If they’re both good, after dinner they will get a special treat

Now it’s time to put on their P.J.’s and say goodnight,
Their mommies will tuck them in and shut off the lights
Morgan and Courtney shut their eyes and dream about the day they had
Soon it will be time for Morgan to go, which makes them both very, very sad

The time has come for them to say their goodbyes
They give each other a hug and kiss with tears in their eyes

Christmas is coming and they can’t wait until then
To be reunited with their favorite cousin to play with again

Although Courtney lives in the east, and Morgan the west
They are the closet cousins the very best
