You were born in your caul

A beautiful boy

You bought joy to us all

 

Your brother protective

When he first held you tight

He told you he loved you

Such a heart melting sight

 

Rocking you gently

In your red bouncy chair

cuddles with mummy

You love pulling her hair

 

Bundle of joy

You took nine months to meet

Now, a lifetime of love

Our family complete

 

Watching you grow

You're learning more every day

making cute little noises

Seem's you have lot's to say

 

You're walking now

And we might be in trouble

Your little legs move fast

But you still love to cuddle

 

The years fly by

So quick, it's a shame

But you're loving school

And can now write your name

 

You're so very gentle

So loving and kind

You get that from your mummy

But you have a dark side

 

You love Halloween

And all its dark treats

Scary ghost stories

But most of all sweets

 

As you get bigger

Its clearer to see

You will do such good things

And will always succeed

 

You try your best

Never scared of a fight

And wherever you go

Shine your special light
