Men-of-a-certain-age have thee best moves.
Try not laugh to laugh out loud, when watchin' their grooves.
Singin' in soprano at the top of their voice,
an' that Karaoke gives them multiple choice.
In observation do you not think we should send,
them to 'Strictly Come Dancing',
marking 10 out of 10 ..

Nice little poem displaying

Nice little poem displaying your lust for life, Denni. As a man-of-a-certain-age, though, I try to steer clear of singing and dancing whenever possible. Except, of course, in the bath, but when I dance in the bath I tend to make an awful mess.....

I never dance at weddings

I never dance at weddings but I remember going to the races and Madness were on afterwards. I had a great time dancing away (I always dance to Madness - even when I'm driving). When I got home Sue asked, "Did you have a good time?"
"Yeah, great, I was dancing away. It was great."
"You were dancing!!! Who else was dancing?"
"Er, I dunno."
"It was just you, wasn't it?"
"Well ...."
"Where were you dancing?"
"At the top of the steps."
"So you were dancing at the top of the steps. On your own, riht? It was just you, wasn't it? Dancing on your own at the top of the steps in full view of everyone else who'd gone for a nice day at the races. Just you."
"Er, well, y'know ...."

The thing is dancing to

The thing is dancing to Madness isn't exactly like dancng to Barclay James Harvest or Matthew's Southern Comfort. It's a whole different energy level.
