I move with the sun
But these words are exhausted
And my confidence is your guess
Yet as an undefined dependent
I lean on these sweet gestures
Which aren’t meant to fool me
Into believing
I will simply dream
I’m not dying and
hang on to this self-suggested pose,
As a lanky, bony nude
Enjoying my gracious artist’s love
I speak in high-pitched, enthusiastic tones
Of fleeing
but I have a mountain to climb
Before I tell you in all openness
And unintentionally
About those unimportant events
It throws me and makes me restless
But I have a mountain to climb
When I get to the summit I will read your letter
This is the pinnacle of my mountain climbing career
When I get to the top I’m not going down again
