listen to the roar of storms!
listen to the roar of gales!
listen to the hymns of silence
do you hear the song of songs?

ageless melodies' flutes misty mild
murmur hum ancient ever hymns
listen to the silence songs of silence
sing to the wind sing like the thunder

bringing tidings of hope & tidings of joy!
tidings of love & tidings of peace!

dawned is the day of childlike wonder
baby in lilies gift of love and doves
gently commands raging storms obey
bring truth bring light swift the gospel

streams' laughing chuckling gaily
happy song bringer of joyful news
brought home to home hearth to hearth
roll on from village to village

from far burn fires of jubilation
from far calls life’s celebration!

saviour jesus son of god is born messiah!
anointed lion of david's crown and throne
noble prince of peace king of kings!
jehovah youth of ages days uncounted

hear the song of songs
hear the roars of silence!

coals glow solemn ancient legends
dancing lightly distant lightning
running waters mirror shine glimmer
whispering the wind his merry fiddle

symphony voices of creation carries forever
hear heavenly choirs hear deep the rumble
from eden's garden comes sweet living water
eternal in paradise the rainbow's splendour

blowing in the wind & singing in the stream!
winding in the river & flowing to the sea!

can you hear the silence do you hear the silence?
do you hear the peace can you feel the peace?

And the Lord said, every living substance that I have made will I destroy from off the face of the earth. That day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened. And the rain was upon the earth forty days and forty nights.

Also he sent forth a dove from him, to see if the waters were abated from off the face of the ground; But the dove found no rest for the sole of her foot, and she returned unto him into the ark, for the waters were on the face of the whole earth: then he put forth his hand, and took her, and pulled her in unto him into the ark.

And he stayed yet other seven days; and again he sent forth the dove out of the ark; And the dove came in to him in the evening; and, lo, in her mouth was an olive leaf pluckt off: so Noah knew that the waters were abated from off the earth. And he stayed yet other seven days; and sent forth the dove; which returned not again unto him any more.
