She's inevitable
Like sunrise or gravity
Earthbound yet Heavenly
Magnetically I catch myself staring
I smile in apology but can't look away
When I see she's been looking too
She's a moonbeam
In her light scatters
The shadows of all else
When we talk, her eyes guide me in
So more and more of me turns to face her
I'm trapped in an orbit descending fast
She stops time
Her smell is delicious
Her voice like nothing else
I'm aware of pedestals
I'm knowledgeable about pitfalls
I'm good with women. But her
The danger of loss
Before we begin
Makes me tread light
Yet still I tread on

Lovely, you capture the gaze of a dog beautifully in this touching tribute.
