[Continuing the hymn-for-Sundays series]

The churches are empty, and so is the tomb!
We’re longing to worship together as one,
but still we are thrilling, and each lift our voice –
whatever may happen we know, and rejoice:

for Christ is alive and has bought us his gift
of life everlasting that heals the great rift –
from him we no longer need keep far apart –
he took all that sin which infected our heart.

Rejoice in the Lord always, and again I say rejoice!

Thank you. indeed, Hallelujah! and may all see we rejoice and praise as one, though we cannot meet together (in UK anyway, as all group meetings are prohibited in the virus crisis). Even when we are separated (social distancing) from our fellow-believers we are united at the throne of grace, and celelbrate that our separation from God because of sin is ended! Rhiannon

( we have to meet by zoom-internet meetings, or by email or phone calls, and hear preaching via internet videos or audio CD!)
