in the mountains of

forever land

lives a stream

so high

it flits its way

between rocky cracks

and collects

in bowls

of flooding moisture

laying claim

to un-caged land

fearless

from shear

cliffs to flat lines

feasting down

and down

inventing beauty

in bold

splashing rivulets.
